The 32nd Annual Green Corn
Festival gets underway next Thursday, June 28th and will
continue through Saturday, June 30th, in downtown Bixby. For a

The widening of Memorial
Drive from the Arkansas River bridge to 151st Street is in
its final phase of completion with re-striping currently
underway and should be finished soon.
As the 4th of July holiday approaches there have been
numerous inquiries regarding fireworks regulations in Bixby.
Possession, use, or sale, of fireworks within the city limits
of Bixby is strictly prohibited and persons doing so are subject
to being cited by the police.
The Bixby City Council will meet next Monday, June 25th,
7:00 pm, Council Chambers, City Hall, 116 West Needles, downtown
Bixby.
July City Council Planning Commission Schedule
The Bixby City Council will meet Monday, July 9th, and Monday,
July 23rd, 7:00 pm, Council Chambers, City Hall, 116 West
Needles, downtown Bixby.
The Planning Commission will meet Monday, July 16th, 7:00 pm,
City Hall.
Mosquito Spraying
City crews are spraying the entire city both north and south of
the river three times weekly, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays
in order to catch up from recent rains.
